Victoria International Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1995, as a subsidiary of erstwhile Victoria Produce Pty Ltd group that has been in South Africa since 1965. As the word “International” indicates, the primary objective of Victoria International has to focus on growing opportunities of international trade and services for African countries. Over the years, Victoria International has experienced steady growth to become a dynamic medium sized company o and representatives in other African countries. Our four major area of operation are:
PPR Education, a not for profit organization started by Victoria International, focus on improving education levels in South Africa. Working hand in hand with dept of education, our work focus on under-privileged schools that are performing poorly. Our program sought to rekindle the pride and joy of teaching among Educators and instill the love of learning and culture of education among learners. We do so with a unique program that shows measurable improvements within short period of time.
Imphelo Help line, another initiative of Victoria International, is a health call centre being created with the aim of reducing the minor ailment load on public health system. This will allow any citizen to access to medical information and advice, and avail counselling services by using telephone. This is especially useful for the poor and those living in rural areas who have to travel long distance to get to nearest public health care. It will also help reduce workload of government hospitals when minor ailments are dealt with telephonically.
BLIND & DEAF
Victoria International is actively involved in introducing innovative concept to help blind & deaf people to use their special strengths to create unique business models that make them positive contributors to society. Enterprises that help the blind & deaf earn out of their skills instead of being a burden on society. Durban Edutainment Center is one such program. Operating Imphelo Help line with help of blind is another. A number of other exciting projects are in pipeline.
